PEX Tubing repair

If you decide not to buy the tool, you will have to use a threaded fitting system which may not be as stable as a crimping system. You should be able to easily remove a few of the fittings and connections that were previously placed in the system, and replace the piece of PEX pipe that has the leak. If you have a leak in a connection, it is recommended that you completely replace all of the components involved in the connection to ensure that you fix the problem and do not have to come back at a later date and try again.
Remember that when you have the new pipe in place, you need to go through all of the proper testing procedures including a pressure test. Test the water pressure at all of your different fixtures. This will help you to better identify where the leaks in your system might be.
